Photo access
Choose full or limited Photos access through iOS. Processing starts only after you also agree to local photo and face analysis in the app. Only accessible photos can be searched.
Preparation
Initial preparation starts after you agree to local analysis. On iOS 26 or later, it can continue in the background when iOS allows, with no extra button. Keeping the app open can help it finish sooner. iOS may pause or stop background work; completed analysis is saved. On earlier iOS versions, keep the app open and return to resume unfinished work. iCloud originals may need a connection.
People and suggestions
Name people in Personalize and review face suggestions before saving. Use person filters in both Search and Deletion. Deleting a person label removes that group and its active assignments; it preserves your photos.
Archive and deletion
Archive hides candidates, not originals. Trash stages photos for review. Delete all opens the iOS deletion approval for your selection; cancelling preserves your photos. iCloud Photos may synchronize deletions.
Search languages
Photo descriptions and voice search currently use English. The interface supports English, Turkish and German.
