Your photos and face data
All photo and face analysis takes place locally on your device. The app does not send your photos or face data to the developer or external AI services for analysis. Photos, face crops, image and face vectors, labels, review choices and photo metadata are processed locally for search and grouping. Suggestions can be wrong; review people before saving.
Automatic estimates and your choices
After you agree to local analysis, preparation automatically computes model estimates for eligible faces, including appearance and real/artificial-face clues. These are fallible guesses, not proof of identity or gender. A gender hint you choose for a person is optional. Human labels and raw model estimates are stored separately.
Camera and voice
Camera search images are temporary and are not added to your photo library. English dictation runs on device when supported; there is no server fallback and the app does not save audio recordings.
Local search records
Search text, person names used in searches, result references and timing reports are saved locally in the app for diagnostics. The app does not upload these records to the developer. These records can remain until the app data is removed; deleting a person label does not clear earlier search reports. This beta does not translate queries through a remote translation service.
Your controls
To stop photo access, open iOS Settings and choose None for Photos. This stops photo-based features but does not erase saved analysis. Delete person labels in Personalize; deleting the app removes local app data, not original photos or earlier device backups.
Storage and removal
Local analysis stays in the app until the relevant data is removed or you delete the app. Deleting person labels in Personalize removes active assignments, not all face vectors, analysis, review records or earlier search reports. Archiving hides candidates; it does not delete photos or analysis. Trash only stages photos; device deletion needs your confirmation and iOS approval. iCloud Photos may synchronize deletions.
Device backups are managed by iOS. App data may be included in a device backup; deleting the app does not automatically remove older backups.
Voluntarily shared support data
There is no automatic developer backup or gallery upload. Contacting support opens your email app; only the message and attachments you choose to send are shared with the developer. A support email is separate from this app and is not erased by uninstalling it. Contact support to request its removal. Information you share is used to answer your request, not to train model weights through this app.
Permissions and optional services
Photo access and local analysis are separate choices. Choose full or limited photo access through iOS; photo and face processing starts only after you also agree to local analysis in the app. iCloud originals may be downloaded by Apple's Photos service when needed. Optional place-name lookup is off by default; when enabled, photo GPS coordinates are sent to Apple's location service, not photo pixels, face vectors or labels. Apple may also process technical service connection data. This app has no advertising, cross-app tracking or automatic analytics upload. TestFlight and Apple diagnostics follow Apple's own settings and policies.
Questions and requests
For privacy questions or copies you voluntarily shared with the developer, contact support. In-app labels are not proof of a person's identity or gender. No photo or biometric data is sold or used by the developer to train models through this app.
Support
Only include information you want to share. Do not send photos or face data unless you intend to share them.
